Seriously though: I'm looking forward to it. Am planning on being in the water by 10.00 am with Blackroady as crew (unfortunately Mrs A can't make it) and hope to meet up with Maximus and Matt H to cruise over together from Poole. If they can launch at Baiter, it's only 200m from Parkstone Bay where my boat is kept. Am more than happy to have extra crew (especially of the fairer sex) if wanted. (Blackroady can entertain them 'cos he's got a big one too - even if he doesn't like to use it in the winter!).
I've not used mine for a month or so now - so I'm guessing its all gone soft & saggy in the cold . Maybe I'll pump it up tonight .................

I am very much looking forward to it - regardless of weather - just hope my legs wil be up to it & I can still walk on Sunday !

I can confirm I am more than happy ( if a little out of practice) to entertain the fairer sex in the back of the boat while David does the important work of steering the boat !

Baiter is nasty to launch from, to gentle gradient and too shallow, unless its dry suit time, its a pain in the arse to push the trailer in the water , Maxi metioned some where else???

I'm still up for it! I'm nursing a bruised back muscle which is getting better and better all the time, but I'm almost 100% sure I'll be attending. As for crew, one has dropped out...But I have a plan for a replacement and my only other crew members that are doubtfull are my 8 and 12 year olds. But that'll depend on my finger and Bramblemet.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of this one guys.

Not because I'm wimping out of the weather; rather I'm working in Southampton. If you see a frozen instructor on a PWC, give me a wave

So are we: Grimalkin (the boat) with Blackroady, Matt H's other half if she is coming and wants a larger boat and me. 250kts may also come with us rather than take Ermintrude.

I thought the time had been brought forward?

If we don't get to the Folly till 1PM, it will be 1:30 before we all get ashore and getting on for 2:00 before we eat.

Some people need to leave about 2:30 -3:00 in order to recover before dark.

Suggest 12:00 at the Folly to ease the rush????
