Looks like we might have to find somewhere else for the Saturday night meal. I have been trying to get in contact with the manager at the 40 foot bar for the last 3 weeks but have had no response so i asked Tonymac if he could find any info out for us, it seems the place is changing owners at the moment. They are not taking bookings beyond the middle of May as they are not sure how things will go. He asked if we wanted to check back after that .....so it might be best to have a plan B.
tony as sent a few links to other places that we could try so i will make a few phone calls to see if anyone can put up with us for a few hours

So lets see if I have this right:

1. You were all fingerprinted last year
2. You got pelted on the Liffey
3. The hotel doesn't want us back
4. The Restaurant doesn't want us back
5. The Marina has been reinforced with warships

Did you lads get up to something after I went to bed?

EDIT: Silverfox looked a bit sheepish the next morning! It was him, wasn't it?

The Rasam Indian Restaurant looks interesting I could be wrong but it does seem to be a genuine Indian.

Most Indian restaurants over here are actually Bangladeshi or Pakistani owned but get away with using the word Indian cuisine.

The statue of a sacred elephant is the give away as Muslims do not like to show effigies of animals.

If it is a genuine Indian I bet that the food is fantastic but, I think, would be rather expensive as nothing will be made up for convenience everything will be made and prepared in situ. This place would be a good choice to soak up the Guinness.

Wish I was coming with you. T.T. Its been a very long time since I have eaten a proper Indian.. and he tasted okay too

If it were me and my crew, we can't remember.

Can somebody fill in the blanks, we can remember arriving, then breakfast!

One of the best Indian dishes I ever tasted was a Goan pork curry. The Rasam has a couple of pork dishes on the menu which would point to it being genuine

Yes folks the Indian is a genuine Indian restaurant and has a great reputation.

The hotel also has a restaurant - I got a very nice thin base pizza in there one evening.
