Very enjoyable pictures - thanks for posting.

What were the Police up to? Making sure people didn't get too close?

We were going to go on the 23rd (my birthday) but had a BBQ at home instead - so I was pleased to see the pictures.

Looked quite busy on the water - no problems getting to and from the event?

I went on Sunday & sat on the beach / to & from a freinds 56 ft Princess by Jet Rib - which we managed to fill with water each time we came into the beach ! We then had to lift & drain it before the return trip.

Sunday was a first day - nice pics Steve . Was partly sad not to have gone by boat , but I was worriing about the low tide back into Mudeford at 6 pm ! ( and I could have a few beers on the beach ! )

I am however planning to go & watch the powerboats on Sat from Cowes - so cant be all bad !

Agree after the Vulcan & Typhoon the Arrows were 'quiet'- very nice to see Lancaster & B17 - also top part of the flying.

Re;- Police. Imagine the scene "hundreds of boats, all forming a neat rectangle of clear water, which just so happened to be also marked by clusters of bouys", so along you come and think to one's self, wow what a great bit of water to go play in! The Police were dragging this twat out of the display area ...

I also have several nominee's for the Darwin Award, see pic. Three SIB's who kept drifting into the above area. Eventually came over and asked if they could tie on to our RIB as their anchour was not working. I reluctantly said yes, and asked what they were using. They then produced a sea anchour!! Both the wind and tide were running on shore .....

Sea anchor that's a classic. Great photo's someone obviously has an expensive camera or knack for using a compact. Personally I thought the day was excellent, fantastic display and loved the Ice cream boat called "frozen assets".

Isles of Silly next.

Thanks Sebbo

Only taken on a compact, all be it with a 10x optical zoom. Would not risk taking any expensive stuff to sea unless in a dive case, when it to lumpy to catch fast moving targets.

Hope to have a large commercial boat out there next year
