BIBOA Solent Cruise Easter Weekend

Hi all!

Is anyone going out on the BIBOA Solent Cruise next weekend?

We are hoping to launch from Camber Dock, Portsmouth on Friday lunchtime, stay locally overnight and be out on the Solent again Saturday.

Does anyone know where the main BIBOA group is going to be and what their plans are?

Graeme,

I think they are planning to launch from Northney Marina on Hayling Island and have several trips and BBQ's organised.

Give Yvonne Mackintosh a ring. E-mail me if you havn't got her number!

I'm working all over Easter!

Graeme,

Have you not received RIBLINEs or the recent flyer with contact details? Easter Cruise is being run by Gary Tickner but I dont have his details to hand & wont be home til Weds pm. Give Jime or Yvonne a ring on 01902 372975 & they can put you in touch.

Aging Youth, suggest you do similar. Cant see any reason why you couldnt turn up to meet folks or meet them at lunchtime stop. (Suspect they will be at the Wheatsheaf at Yarmouth over the weekend at some point.)

Guys i'll be in the solent Thursday and Friday. Thursday i'm catching up with some friends who are still at university since it's the last race of the student yacht nationals (planing to find them them potter arround solent for a while). But nothing particular planed for Friday

Plan is: Launch at camber slip (been there before, very impressed), leave in marina overnight - ANY SUGGESTIONS WHICH ONE and then have a mess arround Friday too, recovering at camber slip late afternoon i think.

I too need to sort the BIOBA membership, i'll try and do that tommorow - but irrespective of that if anyone else is about and want to meet up let me know (Graeme? Ageing Youth?...)

Weather This weekend

Morning All

The weather seems to be going down hill a bit at the moment, Tomorrow when i'm out its blowing NE 3-5 ( Needles will be a good place to play ) then on Saturday its blowing NE 4-6. Should be some interesting seas around the solent at the weekend. Think were going to get wet.

Have a good weekend, may see some of you in yarmouth
