Me & the Pikelet are thinking about going down on the Saturday & maybe staying overnight, weather permitting. Is there anywhere to stash the boat on the Saturday night & any recommended digs nearby?

You can stash the boat at Ronnies I believe at a reasonable price , not sure about digs , maybe someone on here can advise .

When we did the video there was a guy lure fishing in the boat. He changed lure a dozen times at least without a single take. They can't have been feeding. Didn't bother me too much

Hey just a thought here.
Clocks will have gone back by then
So it could be quite darkish by 18.00, -- low water you reckon?

Bass will still be about but even if not , it could be a good day to explore the Swellies at low water

Anyone want a bash (oops scuse pun!) at negotiating said rapids?

I know where the rocks are-- cos I,ve hit em all

That takes me back to a time in the mid '90s when a chap from work, while out on his lunch break, was asked directions by a lorry driver to Crown Street. My colleague was puzzled as he wasn't aware of such a street in Carmarthen........well, you can work the rest out!
The lorry had been driven down from the midlands that morning, probably already travelled twice the necessary distance when he realised his mistake. Suffice to say, the people in Crown Street didn't get their delivery that day.
