fuzzy I think your numbers are off. The OX66 250's (and almost all non dfi 2 strokes) are designed to burn around 50 gallons of gas per gallon of oil. Mine are right on that number. If I run harder, I burn more like 40:1 but if I run normal I burn 50:1.


1999 Yamaha ox66 225, oil use??
The Yams oil injection is based on throttle position...the further you have it in the corner, the more oil it burns! I went 90 miles last weekend, burned about 45 gals fuel, and about 1 gal. oil...2002 225 EFI Yam. The tach stayed mostly in the 3500 range when running.
