Just looking for options Matt
which can't be a bad thing, and if other people are on there before us then maybe there will not enough grass space to pitch the tents. Last thing we want to do after a days
is get there and for whatever reason find that we can't get on to camp for the night.
Would be nice if we could get a couple of regular ribbers to do a recce for us.
Holyhead grasslands is another option if its still as it was when we camped on it 3 years ago maybe Fester could take a look at that one for us as he has a caravan in Holyhead
Llanddwyn is not an option unfortunately
Porth Wen is ok but as said not for a crowd
Oh! the nearest campsite to Llanddwyn is just over a mile away
On the north east coast there is a sight that has a beach right next to it. At Lligwy but it dries out quite far and is very shallow so about 1 hour either side of high water max I would say
Years ago I did camp at Abermenai (just opposite Chris's Ty Calch) but haven't seen many lately
Once I camped at Llanddwyn but arrived at Dusk and scarpered before first light
The grassy knoll at Holyhead seems yer best bet!
