well for once common sense overcame and I, well it was Jayne really, decided the weather was just a bit too rough for me to take the chance on going, didn't want to undo all the recent hard work following the last op

anyway, I did go along to watch them setting off and hopefully managed to get pics of everyone launching, so here goes

Thanks to all for a warm welcome on my first cruise. Im gutted I couldnt make it to Conwy from Puffin, but being the tiddler of the group, I think it was a wise decision in those conditions. The slog back to Chris's was a challenge.....enjoyed every minute tho

It was nice to meet you Deekus and also I think that rib of yours is more capable than you think its just confidence at the end of the day and and I think you made a good call.

The more trips you have out the more you will get to know your boats capabilities and gain more confidence

we were right alongside you for a bit watching you battling through - you seemed to be doing well, but fair play to you for knowing your limits - you only look silly when things go wrong

Most of us on here started just the same as yourself ,as for wisdom I am still learning only been at it for 5 years, but one thing for sure there are some very experienced people on Ribnet who we all can learn from. That's what makes this a great forum.
