All those coming to Cherbourg 8th and 9th April

Hi All

Those people who are intending coming to Cherbourg with me, please remember to get your SSR and ICC. All accompanying boats will be repsonsible for their own accomodation and moorings. All legal requirements for entering French waters will also be the individual owners responsibilites.

If you have any queries regarding the SSR or you need an ICC then do ask me.

Simon.

Dear Simon Whilst I am quite capable of looking for myself on the net for the accomodation, I just thought you may have had some suggestions, so at least we might all be in the same area. All the best Martin

A Beer or Three

You might like to try popping into the Cherbourg Yacht Club for a beer. Its nice and informal and hospitable. They also do good meals.

Simon,

Sorry to hear you cant make the event now.

For all others who are still interested in going, I have just booked a hotel called Inter Hotel Du Louvre, Its right next to the marina so easy to get in and out etc.

Here is the link if any oe is interested in this one http://www.bookings.fr/hotel/fr/inte...l=Cherbourg-en

I am planning to meet with Jon in Yarmouth for a bite to eat before we set off so let me know if you would like to run with us as well.

See you in few weeks

Hi Martin

Hope you and Steph are well, Be great if you can make the event, We have just had our engine and gearbox serviced and just having some new equipment fitted, again hope this will be done in time.

The plan is to meet in Yarmouth on Saturday morning for a spot of food and drink before we set off etc, I would suggest a 10.00am meeting to get the boats fuelled and ready to go.

Lets hope for the good weather.

Regards

Julian

Afternoon Everyone

For all those still looking to go this weekend to Cherbourg, we will be using VHF CH 77. I was thinking about making a early departure inorder to get to Cherbourg for lunch and just incase anyone has any problems were have time to deal with it.

I was looking to set of at 9.30am.

Julian

Hi Martin,

Yep the weather so far looks ok for the run but were keep a close eye on things, if we meet outside of Yarmouth at say 9.30 then were start from there, Jon Adlard is coming from Poole so were meet with him either at the needles or he has given me a waypoint a few miles into the run. I am speaking to him on Friday to arrange so I will give you a call and let you know more details.

See you on Saturday

Julian
