Anybody fancy an overnight trip to Alderney this weekend?

No takers then?

Its sunny and flat calm in Alderney at the moment.....

3 hour crossing, departing South Coast, (probably Lymington) late morning on Saturday - return late afternoon Sunday.

Fuel available in Alderney!

Weather prediction good. Shame to miss it.

Thanks for the offer Tony, but I don't think my 120 horses would keep up with your 250 ...... even on diverging paths!

I was originally planning this trip for Sunday and Monday. Only found out that that wasn’t happening this morning, (Friday) so re-planned it for Sat/Sun.

I’ve been ringing all my friends to be crew all day but it seems everyone is busy this weekend, or at least no-one can do BOTH days!

Trip now pretty well aborted. Just doing something in the Solent instead!

Oh well – next year!

Hi Roy,

OK, well maybe next time.

Didn't go as no crew, but did get a day in Chichester Harbour today. Superb conditions.

May be in the Solent tomorrow, Sunday crew permitting!
