Thanks for all the offers from those who are RYA members. I've got the info I wanted now.
The RYA state that we do not require an ICC to visit Alderney or Guernsey.
However we are required to have the following documentation.
For a UK Registered vessel visiting Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney you will need to carry on board your Ships Registration Papers
, evidence of Insurance,proof of vat, vhf licence
and radio competency certificate.
Due to the Channel Islands not being in the UK or EU, it is treated as
foreign. You will need to make sure you fill in the necessary CustomForms
, you need to complete the C1331 form
and post the top copy in a
Customs Box before departure
and when arriving back in the UK you need
to complete part 2 of the C1331 form
(this is explained on the form).

So a little prior paperwork preperation is required. But hopefully this little reminder should have us all sorted in time.
