That seems to be on repeat at the moment she does get a bit carried away sometimes, that why dad and me like to have our boating trips without her

I'm one of the Admin's for the Sportsboat & Rib Magazine Forum, I see Jokaboat has already posted. I'd would like to say Hi to you all and what a nicely laid out and proper Forum you have.

I would also like to offer a massive thanks to Tim, Martini and Paul for taking the trouble to join our happy band and in spotting that we were mulling over a trip to the CI's this year. Their intervention and assistance with idea's has been welcomed.

I took the opportunity to read all the posts in this thread, in order to get up to speed and at first glance we could well have appeared to be a bunch of f**kers who know absolutely nothing about boating, scaring ourselves into not trying a CI trip. In addition I'm sure that much of the time we do actually spout a lot of hot air. Those among you who may have thought it, were kind enough not to print it, however the one of you that did go to print as previously pointed out, might get to meet us one day, maybe when one of us might be manning the allweather boat to rescue you or to offer you a tow.

This does not deter from the fact that we are a very friendly bunch who will help anyone and are mad keen boaters. In spite of the hot air there is a vast amount of knowledge amongst the members.

I'm sure we can learn a lot from each other and some of us would absolutely like to join you on the next CI trip, if you'll have us that is.

Always my best

Cap'n Jack

Looks like "vipermax" may be putting in an appearance as well as all the Dutch he seems keen to join us up to Alderney, and I'll try ad still the cap breizhers into action although I might have a similar reaction tothose from sb&r from many.

What he said.

By the way, the barbecue is coming on well... So far it features a very large wheel and the casing from an anti-tank mine.

I did some welding this avo that would make Martini weep!

As long as it isn't incorporating a Metz Manta in there anywhere I'll say nothing!

It might end up with one, it seems the witch pre-empted my thoughts of getting an extra one in. Mind you, it might yet end up being needed by yerself.

And how's the charcoal production going? Do I detect a plan for a big bbq coming up? Kiln Farm burgers, steak and a nicely seared 15 yr old on the menu?
