Manana!

Anyway, there's no panic for organasing just yet. We've got a few other cruises on the boil which will be happening before the Floptilla and require our attention first. Lets get a good idea of numbers before deciding on activities.

That would be nice Martin as I am still hungry .

Can we have a creche this year in case it's needed as some of the posts by a member has been a bit rude to our fellow boaters on Sportsboat and Rib forum and we can put him in there for the trip so he can play with his toy's without annoying the grownup's.

Should be a nice trip again looking forward to it already .
Tim

A creche like this would suit me just fine...
(besides, everything I learnt came from my first proper RIBBING experience)

Refresher course maybe? Or are you ready for your PBA?

I think it was my 12th Birthday present gearing up for getting our 4.2m Zodiac Pro the following year. I remember we went out to St. Catherines? and ran up to 30knts, god that felt quick I had to give you the throttle
Both of us were surprised ow easily you coped sat on the tube the whole time but now... it doesn't seem strange at all, sitting on the tubes at 30knts in the VM isn't exactly hard if you had to and of course it allowed you to control the throttle with me at the helm I remember a few "accidental" bursts of power

Nein, sailing next. Done level 2 but to get a "yes" on ICC requires dayskipper although I will do that with navy along with safety boat and first aid sometime in the next couple of years. Also need to do VHF of course and then GD and myself can do PB Intermediate or maybe dayskipper. Or I could just be more qualified and do it at Faslane Nuke base where I may do the dayskipper sailing too

Yes you were a throttle jock then and still are it seems. You can get your ICC power if you are 16 now and send off the original PB2 cert along with RYA membeship .

Actually you're too young to do PBA, think 17 is the requirement. Have neither of you done a classroom nav course then? I'd suggest getting day skipper done asap. No doubt GD knows plenty from flying but a good knowledge of tides is especially important for playing in my back yard

With day skipper + the experience you will have gained by 17, I'd miss PB intermediate and go straight to advanced
