A week? There's nothing there! A day trip to Herm and/or Sark would be worth doing and at least you get on the water

Even better get a flight to Alderney

Hmm - The wind isn't looking good at the moment. For Tuesday (Which is as far out as it goes) XC Weather is forecasting F5 to F6 wind at the Channel Light Vessel which will make the crossing a tad uncomfortable.

Ah but, there is a very high (1033) high in the Atlantic which might just survive the trip across and up to bring stunning weather.

That would be beyond bail out conditions for us but we're all watching the weather like hawks at the moment. The concern mostly being that we get across on the Friday then it blows up so that the trip back is impracticable. Let's all pray for that high parking itself over us for the weekend.

Our bail out conditions are probably a bit less than those for a rib to be honest but at the moment we're still determined. By the end of the weekend we should know what the prevailing conditions should be.

Fingers crossed all round eh

Don't worry, Martin is going to do his special little dance with a few select incantations to encourage good weather. It's worked pretty well for the last couple of years, although he still needs some practice and fine tuning to deal with the fog as well .

Windfinder has it slowly dropping off through Wednesday and Thursday which is as far as they go for now.

The local Masonic lodge should have one!
