New owner!? Let's hope he has the same enthusiasm as the old one for Real Ale (which is the downside of the Sailing Club which only has keg)

I believe Prince Charles will be there too, enjoying the view and cakes.

Trevor, I sent you the info by email.

I can assure you unreservedly that he does

When I popped in for a half I was delighted to be delayed by the contents of no less than four separate casks, all of which were in a remarkable condition and worthy of my hearty enthusiasm.

Right, this conversation really has to stop.

I wanted to come on this trip, I sorted out the insurance, cleared it with the missus and have been saving up for the fuel (though I spent most of it going to Weymouth and back with Avocet in a gale a couple of weeks ago, that rough stuff really drinks the juice, 32.5 Gallons!!) I've told you I now find out that my youngest son's graduation just happens to be on the 20th of July in the afternoon. Which means I now can't come.

Other than boating one of my favourite things is drinking proper real ale with other like minded souls looking out over the water, so just stop going on about it PLEASE.

I going to unsubscribe from this thread, It's just less painful that way.

Have a great time and make sure you go again soon.

Another dropping out ??

We also may have to drop out, but will not know until a few days before.

The boat is on charter right up until that week, and if it overruns... no Alderney trip :-(

This said, we'll still plan to come, until we know otherwise.

How many small ribs are going then?

I'm planning on launching from Southampton, refuelling at Yarmouth and then heading to Alderney before the bigger boats so they can catch us up

I'm just sorting out my camping kit now and currently looking for a tent

Who is heading back on the 22nd? As I wouldn't mind traveling back with a bigger boat
