We looked at 6 different forecast sites and they were all different so we decided that we would stick our noses out and see what it was like.

I think you are very wise, the weather so far this year has been "uncharacteristic"

Hmm. Well that is a little stronger wind than predicted elsewhere but that would definitely favour an "after" arrival as opposed to getting up stupidly early for a "before". I reckon it will take around five hours, probably a bit less but then again I will probably stop at Jersey unless I brave taking on fuel at Braye?

Is anyone else confirmed to be taking on fuel at Braye?

We'll be getting fuel at Braye (Alderney) for the Searider, and then Guernsey or Jersey for Blue Ray.

I'm 95% sure all the 585's will be filling at Braye as well as I think they have 90 Litre tanks.

We've never had any problems with fuel from Braye - unless that is you forget to refuel at high tide and there's no water left in the harbour when you do remember!

Sorry about the VHF confusion: I missed the earlier suggestion which I would have been happy with but I know that Trevor likes Ch08! Ch08 confirmed then.

The current list looks like:

Trevor G + 3 - Blue Ray - 8.6m
Rick G + 1 - Baby Blue - 4.7m
Avocet + 1 - Grimalkin - 7.5m
Whisper - Madness - 5.85m
David Dodd + 1 - T-Zoe - 5.85m
AJ + 2 - Impulse - 5.85m

Still TBC
LongJohn - Seadrive - 4.7m

Madness, T-Zoe and Impulse returning on Sunday when the others will also be moving on - provisionally for the moment to Sark.

There's persistent light rain in Poole at the moment: let's hope it clears for Friday.
