Oh I am quite sure everywhere he goes it will be positively bustling with activity, but as for the rest of the island.....

I'm sure the more seasoned of you have found this before but the last time we went to Alderney we used the last of their petrol - worth giving them a couple of days/weeks notice so they can make sure their bowser is topped up...

Lovely girl working on harbour taxi in Alderney at the moment, did my VHF/SRC course with her a couple of months ago...

Hi David
Good news and bad news on the weather....
The good news is I booked absolutely flat conditions for the weekend many months ago - and it was guaranteed!
Bad news is the weather I booked was delivered about 4 months early and we used it up going round the IOW on a perfect weekend in March!

So now that you are not going in your SR are there any other smaller boats going?

As long as I can get it back together in time we're intending taking the Searider as well for Rick and his friend to use. - Oh yes - and as long as the weather's not looking too bad as well!

looks like we may have a small RC 585 club going, providing it goes ahead of course. Where's the meeting point planned for? I haven't booked camping yet, where's everyone staying?

Anyone out this weekend?

Tappie and I can confirm we are coming.

Since we're coming from ramsgate, this is weather dependent. See you next week!!

I spoke to Trev earlier today and he asked me to to put a post up to see who's coming and after a quick look I've picked out the following names:

Trevor G - 8.6m
Rick G - 4.7m (if completed)
Daniel - 9m+
Longjohn - 4.7m
Avocet - 7.5m
AJ - 5.85m
David Dodd - 5.85m
Whisper - 5.85m

Please shout if I've missed anyone
