I would guess that the 3 x 585's and the Searider will need between 60 and 90 Litres each depending what we are doing on the Saturday

Doesn't look like I'm going to make this one unfortunately, just got too much on. Signing contracts etc for the new boat on Saturday and with next week booked off to go away with her I'll be busy kitting out the booze cabinet and getting to know my way round.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, for those that are staying on next week I'll probably be in the area of Paimpol, Isle de Brehat, Perros Guirec etc. if you find yourself that far south.

All set ready to go. Early start for me tomorrow up at 5 the joys of having a boat and living in the midlands and yes I have had most of the Bullseye jokes!

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow and a great trip.

What? You mean your new boat is taking preference over a rib cruise! Now we know where your allegiance lies .

Hope you have a good trip and think of us getting spray in our face and bouncing around at 30kts like proper boaters . Doubt you could have picked a better weather window for it.

Got the Searider together - steering fitted and all the air out of the system just after lunch.
Got back home at about 6pm and did an idiot check on the steering - just as well I did - I'd fitted the hoses on the wrong sides and when purging of air didn't think to check which way the engine was turning as my instructions to Mrs G were just to turn the wheel as I opened and closed the bleed valves.
It might have been funny though if Rick had had to get all the way to Alderney with reversed steering
Still - all fixed now

Subject to what we get up to on Saturday, I may need up to 100l but (unless we do something very exuberent!) will probably be able to do without. If required, Saturday or Sunday morning (where HW is 10.00am) will be the time. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Subject to LongJohn's confirmation tomorrow, it looks like the final team is:

Trevor G + 3 - Blue Ray - 8.6m
Rick G + 1 - Baby Blue - 4.7m
Avocet + 1 - Grimalkin - 7.5m
Whisper - Madness - 5.85m
David Dodd + 1 - T-Zoe - 5.85m
AJ + 2 - Impulse - 5.85m
LongJohn - Seadrive - 4.7m

Any more at the last minute?

If David Dodd and AJ want to PM me their mobile numbers (I've got all the others unless Rick has his own), I'll do laminates to hand out at Yarmouth for everyone.
