Definately. We should have a raft-up and a photo-op.

Hi everyone,

I've spoken to my insurance company (RJP Marine) and they have informed me that I am covered for the trip under the standard policy.

Should be at Lee on Solent @ lunch tomorrow and will go for a run in the afternoon or evening & hope to see you all in Yarmouth harbour Saturday morning, will listen out on ch72.

Paul

Oh yes?

Didn't think of that did I ? I guess the best way would be to to stop at 1 & 2 hours from departure FB. Lead boat at the time makes the safe to stop decision and slows the fleet to a sensible stop.

I spoke to mine today. I am covered provided I am crossing as part of a floptilla.

I said we were, indeed, a floptilla.

Yup

Happy with that and thank you Mick for offering to lead the group was wondering who I was going to nominate.

Comms on 72 so let us know when slowing down Call sign your own .

Jabs can you inform Coastguard of numbers and ETA.

Add to the List
Firecrest Botnia Targa 30 with 4 onboard.

The guy's with Jet ski's are filling up in Yarmouth and are bringing 20 litre fuel cans .

It would be nice if a couple of Ribs carry them for them.

Chris welcome to Rib.Net mate thanks for giving Jane the lift she did not fancy the rib and was dead against the jetski.

I will be in East Cowes Marina tomorrow pm around 1500 as got to move a boat and fuel another up for the trip so if any one is around come say hi.

Should 1 RIB buddy up with 1 jetski and keep an eye out for them?

I should be in Alderney ahead of you all, so will come out and take some photos and video of your approach, sea state permitting.

Latest scores for the evening meal...

Paul x6 (Jetskiers)
Tony x2
Trevor x2
Martin & Mel (Malthouse)
Keith x2
David & Ginny
Mick x2
Andy & Alex

Makes 35?

I am torn between asking Erin for a trip out to get pics or getting the bar warmed up, oh decisions decisions.

Seriously though, as said, we will be listening out on Ch 72 under the callsign "Alderney Marine".

Once in the harbour you can call us (and/or Mainbrayce) on Ch80

The water taxi operate on 37/M1.

If there are any major incidents I would caution against calling the French, the HM here listens on both 16 and 74 and there set up will pick you up from this side of mid-channel. They are superb guys and can be relied upon 100% if there is an issue.
