I'm struggling to find any accommodation- I'll camp if I really have to. Anyone got a good lead on a place to stay? It's mega golf week and alderney in bloom at the same time.

As cgf10 is struggling to get any accommodation I will have to back out as I do not camp and MUST be back Sunday evening due to firm arrangements from Monday onwards. I was going to wait till the last minute pending weather conditions over that weekend but with accommodation problems now there will be nothing available later. Sorry - perhaps another cruise will come up later

Be sent a couple of emails. Just waiting on answers. Few are fully booked due to golf. Maybe camping.

I'm also struggling to secure accomodation for the night, everyone so far is booked up, so it might be the camping option........

I spoke to Whisper today about the camping option.

Apparently they come all set up- none of this bring your own malarkey.

Maybe worth giving him a nudge if we're struggling.? I didn't fancy lugging all the gear onto my boat.

Let's book up some tents before they're all gone. Couple of beers any I can sleep anywhere.

If that is the type of camping then I could put up with it for one night . I will wait till Friday and make a last minute decision then. Tim , I will call you with a yes or no.

The last time I slept in a tent it was during the Round Scotland in 1998 and we were the poor lot so we pitched up our tents on the lawn in front of the hotel at Kyle of Lochalsh..
