Hi Brian,

Yes I did stay on my fathers yacht, it sounds a bit bloody luxurious, but just occasionally all the bits fit together..... if I hadn't had his support I doubt if I'd made the trip. Not on my account, but my two daughters. I'm sure those who have partners who aren't that keen on the water know what I mean. I'd taken all the precautions EPIRB, Aux. Engine etc. but somehow that seems to worry the nearest and dearest, rather than reassure.

The "Gannet" island, well I knew its name when I was going around it, but I couldn't summon up the energy to walk back to the rib to get the chart out.....
