A quick jaunt

We awoke on Saturday to a clear blue sky however, by the time we'd launched for lunch the clouds had moved in. Regardless, it was nice being on the water. As always I clicked some shots of others. Neil in his new Caribe 4.03 which topped 33mph with a 50 on the tail, 3 adults and two kids aboard.

Robert at the helm

For the past couple of seasons Robert, the son of a good friend of mine has been happier on the beach than in the water - UNTIL - he got behind the wheel of my RIB. It's now a battle each time we're out to see who gets the helm. More often than not he wins. He's only 12 but eminently sensible. Both he and I are now trying to persuade his dad to get a rib.....!! Come on Tony !!!

Is the dog over 18 or have they got a MOB situation? Can only see two adults!
Thanks for the fly-by on Saturday MeMe. Made me feel great!

Fly-By

Yes, I think she's about 39 !!!!

After transferring to MeMe we took her for a spin. Unfortunately I was gripping the safety lines to tight to take further shots.

The Fly-By was my pleasure.....!!! You probubaly couldn't see from that distance but I had a glass of your baileys in my hand - thanks again.

When you say the clouds had moved in by lunch, one assumes that on this occasion you are referring to the blue, noxious ones from the back of your boat as opposed to the cumulus variety normally prevalent on the Lleyn peninsula?

Another N.W Ribster

Following pressure from all sides Tonys' bought himself and family a RIB. We went to view it last night, paid a deposit and will be collecting it this weekend. It's a beauty. Zodiac Yachtline 380DL with a 30hp four stroke on the tail. It should prove great fun and ideal for getting the kids (Robert 12 - Laura 9 - Jono 8) on the water. See you out there......

giving Robert the rod

Let's just hope Robert's dad doesn't catch you or getting to the helm will be the least of your worries!!
