LT.

I will launch from Warsash. I'm a fan of this site as it has a pontoon, a friendly harbourmaster, no too expensive(considering parking is free) and is at the entrance of the Hamble and 10mins from being able to open the 'fun taps'

Having said that- I'm in a 4m and state of tide doesn't effect me.

The slipway has had some improvements but it's still shallow at the top end. HW +/- 2hrs and you'll need to put on your waders and use a 20m rope using a 585 (as a guide)

Personally- I can man handle mine without the need of a rope but I still need to wade on to get the rear rollers under water.(my preferred method)

Main car park has a 1.95m height restriction but the smaller one next to the slip doesn't have one and this time of year free all day and shouldn't be too busy.

Hamble point is a good option but it's further for me and triple the cost- but it may be your best bet.

Or Calshot.?

Sounds interesting, I may be up for this, travelling from Poole and launching from Calshot, 4.6m Rib.

Looking forward to the 8th we shall be leaving from Southampton dry stack. I see there are others leaving from there around 10.30am. We went out for a quick blast last week on Thursday over to cowes, weather was cracking. Hopefully it will be the same again. We will be in a 6.5m ballistic (Mojo) probably 4 people total

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this year - we will be boating on the 8th, but just cross channel on a ferry and won't be back in time for the Nacho run.

Have a great time - the weather forecast at the moment looks just about perfect.

Well, the numbers are growing and I attach an updated list. As you will see, there are still a number of question marks and I should probably contact the pub and harbour authorities tomorrow to let them know approximate numbers. Please, therefore, let me have any further details, amendments or additional participants asap. Looking forward to Sunday.

David

All there - Think there will be a couple of us leaving from the Hamble. Bob has PM'ed me also. I'll be leaving from
Hamble Point Marina. Boat name Bystander. If you fancied travelling as a group perhaps meet around 10.30ish at the mouth of the Hamble?

Chris

The Poole group can pick you up around 11.50 if you're coming. Confirmation needed and POB if you are!

8th Annual Nacho Run: 8 January 2017

Hi David, I see on your list that there's a few boats leaving from Poole including yourself.
I live in Poole and thinking of joining you instead of driving to Calshot, so where will you be launching and what time? I normally launch at Baiter. Have been to and around IOW a few times on my Jetski but didn't want to slow you guys down as could only maintain 25-30 kts but I see another small rib is on the list so I could keep him company lol!
Btw my Lomac 460 has no name and I will most likely be on my own. Thanks Paul
