All being well I would like to tag along this year. I'm based in Brixham now so will cruise down with the Torbay group.

Looking OK for Sunday - wind's dropping off Friday pm

Thoughts on route Andy?

If you#'re heading to Salcombe I'll probably run down & meet you in the sound first if it's flat as per last year, then run back via Salcombe. Good 90NM day! If it's bumpier, RV en-route.

If you're thinking of Fowey, I'll need to consider 2 cans of extra fuel - it's a 130NM round trip and ensure the weather's set.

Defo won't get into Looe

Hello

Oddly enough I've just checked the forecast and it's looking ideal wind wise with a small risk of a shower during recovery.

I think we'll go Salcombe and leave Fowey to another day. Sea looks ideal for it and it's always a good cup of tea there

Hope you all have good day. Would love to catch up with you again in the future.

Good pasty too if you go to the bakery and not the "specialist" pasty shop

Listening watch on Channel 08?

I'll be leaving Brixham c.1030. Off Dartmouth.c.1050. Bolt Head 11.20 Plymouth Breakwater c.1200 conditions allowing

Salcombe for pasty chips & tea / pop 1300

Happy to co-ordinate an "Eastern" mob.

LT

Hopefully you'll have a good run dowm. I'll pop the times of Eastern departure up on the Facebook page and see if we can get a couple more forvyou.

Wind has increased slightly but still sheltered on the planned route

Treerat,with I think 3-4 other boats, you & I - I hope at least.

Looking as if we will be the only intrepid ribbers from the Eastern side unless someone knows different.

Good run yesterday.

Fine at start. Nasty short seas from Prawle Point to Wembury, then flattened out to Plymouth & on way back.

Dep Brixham 10:05 RV'd with the 5 Plymouth boats 12:05 outside the breakwater.

Into a very quiet Salcombe c. 1400 (after a delay to fix another one of the boats' engine - MHB100 to the rescue).

Good pasty & cup of tea.

Departed Salcombe 15.20

Return Brixham 16.30

80Nm, 60l fuel

Great to catch up with the Pasty run stalwarts - thanks for a good day all

Interesting - I still remember coming back from Newlyn->Poole on the RIB a couple of years ago and the area from Wembury to Prawle, around Hope Cove, being the worst conditions I experienced, a really unpleasant short swell. Clearly it's still there :-).
