Evening

I was hoping for Salcombe, it makes for a lovely run. Watching the wind currently as there is an Easterly forecast, which if it drops or pushes back will eb fine, but if it stays where it is.....

Monday is looking better weather wise, we'll keep watching and hope we can go as planned.

Should be about 6 boats I think looking at the other places, trying to establish if any fancy the Torquay option.

Can make either Sat or Mon, either Looe from Plymouth (tides allowing) or Salcombe from Torbay

Folks

Been watching the weather and unless mother nature throws something else at us this evening the plan is;

A - launch Saturday as the weather doesn't look too bad, however if the wind does what it's saying and makes the sea too lumpy, run up river to Cotehele and have a pasty there, we're on a rising tide so perfect time wise.

B - if we go up river, go to Salcombe on Monday as it's the better of the days with no wind. We'll just need to leave an hour later to ensure we can launch Plymouth wise.

Hi Andy,
I agree weather tomorrow is looking a little "fresh" off the coast.

I'll now plan to do something out of Plymouth on Monday - tides aren't good for Dartmouth launch & recovery: Brixham's out due to Brixfest.

Ideally join up with you - and anyone else who's game - and run to Salcombe.

Hi All,

Did your pasty run go ahead last year, and will you be planning a re-run this year?

If so i would very much like to join you for a day out and give the new boat a decent run.

Hi Sprocker,

We did do a pasty run last summer - it was to Salcombe. I went Dartmouth-Plymouth, met up with the Plymouth guys & ran with them to Salcombe on the way home.

Not sure what Mr. Treerat is planning this year yet, but there is sure to be a pasty run.

I'm regularly out from Dartmouth / Torbay in my RC585, always welcome company on a run. Salcombe, Plymouth, Lyme Regis & Fowey all covered last year

I'm always up for a cruise in company, so please let me know when you're next planning a visit to the area.
