"I have two other boats joining from The Warren so I might launch from there and head down to Pwlhelli"

Sorry for the ignorance, where is the warren? Is it on the way from the NE?
From Durham to Pwllheli is 240 miles, so somewhere nearer for a launch might be better? If not, me and GL could allways do an Inn somewhere en route on the Fri night. Assuming you dont mind 2 `not quite geordies` joining the fun?

Hi Vince

Stick to the Pwllheli Slipway, its closer, call us before you leave (07920517289/ 08456126850) to make sure alls well if the weathers bad we may launch at Menai Bridge and play on the Menai Straits.

Ok, cheers Jono, thanks for the number. We would have to set off really early around 4am! to get there in good time, so will probably call Fri tea-time. Will keep an eye on weather as well. It looks ok for Sat, just a freshening wind. Cheers

Jono

Any change in plans i.e. spin down the menai given the weather forecast or is it not that bad.
