Only 3 weekends to Go!!!

Hi All,

Well time is catching up with me really quickly. Only 3 weeks to Ribnet's Next Annual Conference

Tim I hope you have now sorted out your B&B accommodation?

There certainly will be a continental flavour this year with people joing us from all over europe.

Mr Brooks I still would like my Ride in the Amry Humber If the offer still stands You are more than welcome to gate crash/join us at the Fountain Hotel BBQ on Saturday Night.

As for the Treasure Hunt, Daniel is bevering away in the background organising this trip around the Isle of Wight. You are Dan?

It will deffinately not be a race to the finish. More a gentle play in the company of other Ribs; the more the better.

I intend to post a list of all people who are intending and their boat names so at least you will know in advance who to avoid

See you all soon.

Best wishes

Would it be possible to launch on Friday 4th from Saxon Wharf and leave the car & trailer there until Sunday? We are (hopefully!) booked to berth at Cowes on Friday and Saturday

If not, what plans does everyone else have?

If you can't beg a lift.........
There is a train station at the airport, go to Southampton and then get the link bus to the ferry terminal.
Don't know prices but it is not far.
Rail times can be found at..

Tim, you will also need to get to the island. As Alan is doing the crossing on Blue Ice we wouldn't like to leave you to swim...

Ribnet 3rd Annual Conference

Hi Everyone.

Cookee I will be definately try and be first in the que

I have attached a list of all people who are attending and have booked rooms and berths through me. If you are not on this list you can still attend by making your own sleeping arrangements see previous pages. I intend to be there from Friday Morning to meet/Greet you and make sure you know where you are sleeping/Berthing.

If anyone has any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me on my mobile 07761 864043.

May I remind you that all monies outstanding to the Hotels and Marina will be paid by the individual concerned. As a reminder all Double/Twins are £60 per night per room, Singles £50 per night per room. Berthing is £2.65 Per Metre on Friday & Saturday and £2.00 Per Metre on Sunday. As I have already paid a deposit for Berthing £50 I intend to collect this back by dividing the total between the number of boats that attend.
