You just missed us then.

All left Putney at about 11.40.

Tried calling you on the number you rang me on on Friday, but got a business answer phone.

Glad you had a good day.

Neil

Love the Seariders.

Hope I'm off work for the next one.

By the way how many miles did you cover and how much of that was blasting it.

Also any pics of the lunchstop and launching facilities and car parking etc.

Most of the time Neil and I where more 35+ mph and we must have covered at least 40 miles (30 miles straight course) with the amount of turning round, messy about generally, having good fun, and the weather was kind to us, but real cold.

I should be posting a video if I get round to editing it.
Regards

Hi Nick,

sorry, no pics of the lunch stop or launch facilities this time.

If you look here:-

There are plenty of pics from the June 2006 trip CJL arranged.

Launching is quite easy, bank can be a bit steep but with a 4x4 is fine, and can get a bit busy at weekends with rowers. Parking seems better on Sundays as less restrictions.

Hope this helps

Neil

Yes Neil thanks we got back ok , We hada chat with London Coastgaurd on 16 who advised RNLI boat which was out on the river they kindly escorted us to thier pier at Waterloo where we had a fiddle around with the engine to no avail. Had a lok round the lifeboat which was really cool boat. The Coxn told us was from Sheerness and commuted by train for his 4 day shift ! Not many lifeboat crews do that I bet. We went up into THe Strand for a coffee which is a strange experience walking around london in Musto and wellies then left Waterloo for Putney at reduced power and made it back OK . The others all duly turned up and had enjoyed the trip . First outing for the Yellow Humber and SIB .Thanks for your concern and watchting over a rather spread out fleet. See you on the south coast one day.
