Peter, good to meet you yesterday. Have managed to find out what the engine problem was?

Good to meet you and your family also.

No, problem not located as yet. Ian A promised to look at today.

I think it is a problem with the fuel line which, of course, is pretty inaccessible. Hey ho, what do they say - bucket with a hole in - or something like that.

Look forward to seeing you on another "squirrel run".

Hi, thanks to everyone who made us welcome. we really enjoyed the run and the pit stop at Looe, sorry to everyone who was expecting a Cornish pasty as I had the last one! Great to help out with the breakdown. Just to clear up the name thingy, my name is Andrew not Charlie and all my friends call me Kenty. Great fun, great trip and good to meet all the nice people. How about Fowey next time as there are no tide issues and easier to park the boats as there are two visitors pontoons with no glass bottomed boats!!

I've edited & uploaded a little bit of footage of the run for posterity.
Conditions on the way back weren't best for filming - everyone was too occupied holding on!

First time at trying to edit video clips so apologies, if it's rubbish!

Again, great little run with a wide mix of conditions from rain & 100m visibility to flat calm westbound across Caswand Bay, to some very lumpy & confused seas off Looe, to a strong SW sea to surf on the way back. Good fun

We had a cracking run (report above). We did wonder where you were, thought you may have been at the boat jumble.

Best wishes to the wife - I guess it's a good enough excuse

I trust Mrs TurboD is making a good recovery - far more important than our trip to Looe.

Well, she's awake now. Been in a induced coma for 12 days. It's going to be many many months before we now the outcome. But fingers crossed. Looks like I will have to sell the delta that I have just refurbed to keep us in funds for a while. But shit happens.

Good to hear Mrs TurboD is awake and starting to recover. Good luck to you both over the next weeks & months.
