Good luck to all and hope you have a good day.
I've had to pull out as some one rear ended the wife's car.
New towbar, bumper and spare wheel needed.

River Lane is pretty good normally but it can get busy with racers. You should be there before them but some may be there rowing down to the start (crazy )

Thank you to the 77 volunteers who took to the water yesterday to support the Great River Race and 2500 competitors afloat in 336 rowing boats from all over the world on the River Thames!! In total 36 satellite tracked safety boats were out and did an amazing job keeping everybody safe.

There are some pictures of the day here; https://flic.kr/s/aHsk4nSQrp

Just got back to Gods own. Absolutely knackered, but loved every minute, even the hanging around & abuse from the competitors. Watched a master class in rafting up, from a true pro at the Masthouse briefing.
I'd do it again in a flash.
Pics to follow when we get un-packed.

We've just got back from a brilliant weekend but absolutely knackered too. Earned some big brownie points though with Mrs Seadog by running up and down the Thames for 12 hours and the weather was ideal even to spend some further time down at Richmond today. Tried some rowing there ourselves to at least say we did it, bugger doing it for 20 miles though, much prefer an engine on the back.

Well done to Chris and his team for providing the bacon buns and ensuring everyone was safe, apart from some verbal abuse from competitors which we were told happens and being hit by a couple of oars, which we didn't expect! Thanks also to the RAF guys for the initiation.

Amazing day but shattering, definitely up for it again next year.
