Bombaed AX2 Tender - Christchurch

Well after a good day on the Parker yesterday I have woken this morning to find some thieving git has stolen my tender.

They have cut the D ring off the bow tube, leaving me a lock and bow line, but it has gone !

Slim chance of ever seeing it again - but if anyone sees a BOMBARD AX2 Air deck with the D ring towing eyes cut off please let me know .

Pete

bugger me pete, how's the insurance company going to feel about that?, there may be a way of bonding a stainless wire loop directly into the tube, ie no hypalon to cut, it would mean flatening and speading the wire out and bonding it between layers of hypalon, then glueing that to the tube, you would have to tear it off the tube rather then cut the little bit of material that holds the loop on

that is absolutely shocking, but not unheard of i believe... seems common that tea leafs wait for replacement items to turn up and go again...

Wow Pete, I'm really sorry to hear that.

Was it marked/different in any way so we can look out for it?

Nasher.

The excel was 100% standard but was fitted with the small plastic fold up wheels ( in grey to match the transom) . These were held on by S/S screws only so if they have removed there will be 4 holes eachside of the centreline onthe outside, but not the inside of the transom.
