Well this is a sad first post...
I would be greatful if everyone could look out for my boat which was stolen from my garden on Thursday 3rd June 2004 at 0124hrs, in OCKLEY Surrey. The local main roads are A24, A29, M23, M25, etc.
The gate padlock was cropped, the wheel clamp forced and the security post and large lump of concrete was dug out of the ground. Neighbours believe they heard a transit type diesel van at 0124 but didn't get any details.
It is a 4 metre Avon Rigid inflatable - like an inshore lifeboat - Orange hull, orange decking/console, black bench seat, chrome A frame at the rear with large spotlamps on the top. It had a dark red topcover. It was fitted with a 40HP Mercury outboard engine, (which was currently a non starter), serial number SE9 001915, secured to the boat with a yellow outboard lock. RIB serial number is AVB32028D585.
It was on a galvanised 2 wheel road trailer.
