2x 15hp Yamaha Outboards - Ringwood

Hi All,

Two 15hp Yamaha 4 stroke engines have been stolen off the back of safety boats at a lake near Ringwood.

If any of you get offered an outboard, possibly with traces of yellow paint (they were all painted with the club postcode, and the words "stolen") that meets this discription, please let either myself or hamster on the forum know.

The engines were last used on Saturday, to safety boat for approximately 40 children aged 6-15 in their Oppie dinghies. Can't be used this week now.

Cheers for posting Jimbo. Just come on to do it myself.

Few more details - both are identical Yamaha 2-stroke (not 4 as Jimbo said) tiller controled outboards. One new 2004 and other 2008. They weren't painted with stolen from Spinnaker as all our other engines are but you can bet your life the new ones will be!!

Serial numbers - 2004 engine ends S317151, 2008 engine ends S1051293.

Insurance should pay out but only for their market value, worth more to us to replace though as we know their service history etc.
