Hi guys, i was again broken into lastnight 16 engines worth around 10grand were stolen last night . My boats are out the game due to this, i was not insured as no one would cover me for contents. i have lost the lot but i am not beaten, i am made of better stuff.

yamaha 4stroke 4hp long shaft, mint
mariner 4stroke 4hp long shaft, mint
2 new honda 2.3hp
12 mercury 2.5hp 2 strokes.
2 electrics
also honda 5.5hp petrol generator.

The forum day goes ahead for those prepared to fish the bank and i will be ever grateful for support at this hard time.

At the boat yard i worked at we had to resort to "vandalising" a load of brand new merc engines on our day boats to make them unattractive to thieves. Its amazing how bad you can make a brand new engine look with a tin of Focus cornflower blue gloss paint thinned with petrol and some marina stickers.

Hope the culprits get caught.
