Zapcat Video..and a few pics

Saturday was here again and despite there being a lack of wind Ben and I decided to go out anyway, thankfully there were plenty of displacement craft around providing us with mountainous wake .

The advantage of it being flat was it gave us the opportunity to take the handheld GPS and get a top speed reading.

No prop guard, 25 Litre of fuel, 2 up (Ben driving, me ballast) gaves us 47mph which is a shade over 40knots!

A last minute change of plan meant Ben brought Intrepid along and the cameras!

Nah wont be racing this season, we wanted to but my new job means i'll be doing shift work. We may look to do the surf events at the end of the season if it fits in around work. We'll just stick to racing peeps in the solent, the only boat that was substantially quicker yesterday was Ben's rib, not even the Red Jet could shake us off
