Yes it's Scotland!

Hard to believe this isn't the French Riviera. Pictures taken in West Loch Roag, Lewis, Outer Hebrides. The yacht unfortuantely wasn't mine. For train spotters out there it was called Curlew.

... other than a refreshing absence of [insert nationality/ethnicity of choice].

I believe it, I've had weather like that at Ardnamurchan - lovely when you hit it right. Mind you, the very next hour/day can be sh1te!

Is that the little beach just round from Riof?

I live across the loch @ Tobson on Bernera. Unfortunately without a boat to get out on the water just yet.

Looks like you certainly got some of the amazing weather we have had of late! Great shots.

Cheers

Yes, it's the back of reef or Tràigh na Beirigh. We call it the 'Shell Beach' as it has quite course sand and shells. Perfect place to picnic as it's usually sheltered. I've been to Tobson before, many years ago, which which is only 10-15 minutes away by boat from Valtos.
