Why does anybody winterise ???

Why do any of you winterise ???

We've just had the best weekend ever on our boat and i cant understand why loads of people have laid their boats up for the winter.

Check out the Video of the weekend here (44MB) The first 16 minutes is wakeboarding of an average standard (no flips or anything) - then some boats then my attempts at getting up on the wakeboard

Thanks to My Dad, Jenny and Nicky for driving the boat and teaching me to wakeboard. Thanks to Alex and Heidi for the Camera work and cheers when I finally got up. Thanks to Bob and Sue for travelling all the way from Par docks to join in (where were you kernow).

A bootle of red has almost tempted me. . Might even dig the pair of sticks(water skis) out of the garage. I'll leave all that wakeboarding for the young whipper-snappers like Roy. I can bugger myself enough surfing without gettin' dragged along by a boat!! --------------Just watched the vid, totally amazing Roy. I'm gonna get a grown up's wakeboard now. I've spent most of my life around that stretch of water, brings a lump to my throat. Cheers.
