Weekend Photos

We had a run round the isle of wight on saturday, finishing up with a thrash around one of the forts. The photos are on http://www.badviz.com/Galleries/RoundIsland2/index.htm , but this is one of the best photos that came out. Great day for going boating!

Great pictures of the Tornado on your website. The middle picture on the top row could be straight from a Tornado catalog. You should let them know...they might buy it from you!

Our own dive club is currently looking for a second boat. Lots of things to be taken into account. There aren't too many comfortable towing a large RIB so we're staying around the 6-6.5m mark (although they were looking at a 6.9 recently).

Great pics. How did the cameraman/woman get the shots looking down on the RIB? Did you charter a helicopter or summat?

Sometimes even I'm surprised at how slow I am!

Yes it was on the abandoned fort (Horse Sand?).

Mosser - to answer your question, yes we have given some of the photos to Tornado for their website.

As for towing large boats - our boat is on the edge of what you can tow legally with most cars, as it's quite heavy. My boat co-owner having a 4WD audi helps a huge amount. I guess a 6m with a smaller engine would be much easier to handle.

Great hoto's

Hi Thorper,

Some very good pictures, the water was quite flat that w/end, I could not get out.

Next time you out on the Solent I would certainly appreciate a run out with you guys to see how your boat compares to my Humber.

Cheers for now

Kevin

No problem - we're not out for a couple of weeks, but I'll let you know when we are planning a runaround!

Are you based in ECA?
