USS Harry S Truman - Solent May 2003
The 100,000-ton aircraft carrier USS Harry S Truman sailed up the eastern coast of the Isle of Wight and into Stokes Bay on the way back from war in the Gulf. She is there Sunday 11th May and well worth a look.

We attracted some attention even though we where a few hundred metres away!! The fast boats and diving suits made them twitchy, to quote the copper!

different ship same idea...
Had a day on the USS George Washington in the med 2 years ago underway now that was a good wake at 35 knots!!!100000 tonnes of nuclearpowered fun!!! beats anyone here on claims of Horse Power!!!
