ups and downs of a good day

ups..left aberdovy met up with mark and phil on big blue 3 they set off from aberystwyth
we met at barmouth short trip under the bridge into the estuary for lunch then we set off to the sarn y garn reef marker bouy where they went fishing, grey skies but good company think we might have caught a sight of roy bishops new rib INTO THE RED in barmouth harbour
took some great pictures and some video so far so good ....

downs ..on the way out to the reef dont no how or why but i lent forward just as we hit a small wave in big blues wake and yes...hit my mouth on the grab handle stupid i know...end result 2 chipped teeth, spilt tongue, and a mouth full of blood ...how many of you have done something stupid like that...anyway what upset me most was by mistake i deleted all the pictures i took in barmouth.. so was a trip to the dentist today to have them x-rayed and filed fingers crossed no long term damage ..

video of barmouth and pictures

Shame to hear about the incident tony iv come close to doing that myself a couple of times. Catch much on the reef? some of the best fishing around on there. Also do you mean Sarn-y-Bwch rather than san y garn? It looks like you were there from the pic.

You were lucky, Davybouy did that a few years ago and took his front teeth right out.
