Training Exercise Solent

Went out for a little play in the solent yesterday and managed to get a little training session in with the Coastguard Helicopter Mike Uniform. Maybe one of the last opportunities to do it with the old Sea kings as they are being replaced very very soon.

Was great out there yesterday not too bumpy and quite warm as well.

It was quite terrifying having the helicopter about 10ft above the boat! The Guardian kept coming into my mind. We should have some video shortly....

The new helicopters should of been arriving in March for the Solent Area. However I have been advised that there is a delay on these.

Newsflash:

Cameraman either collapsed on sofa with large rum in hand, or running around Marina sorting various things, net result, when he finally has time, he is too lazy to upload vids!

I'll work on them tonight, promise...

For the benefit of codprawn - anyone that wants them to download rather than stream, they can be made available on request!
