how old was the PVC tube?

I'm considering a 2004 second hand Tornado with their heavy duty tube. I've always stuck with Hypalon, but the guy says it is as good as hypalon.

comments on the tube and boat generally?

tom

I think the tubes were less than ten years old when they became too much hassle to repair. I was told that hypalon was better and more easily repaired, so went with that.
hope this help.

Jiz just taken the time to read this thread and what a top job you have done there. Having been doing up our Tornado since we got it I know how much hard work you must have put in. Wanted to re do our paint/colour but dont have the room here to take on project like that. Keep the pictures coming. I wish we had taken more before starting.

Yes it is alot of work and I am fortunate to have the room to do it inside, but with the good weather coming you could achieve the same paint finish outside. With mine, I just decided I was going to go the whole hog and do it properly (nothing worse than a half arsed attempt) so I am taking my time. I have Learn't a great deal tho' in the last few months.
Hopefully it will be finished and wet by the end of May

Good luck with yours and try to post some pics!
