I love that the guys with the kind of boats that I dream about still have something to dream about! It's kind of cool but worrying at the same time: - no boat, you think 4m is plenty; 4m, you start fantasising about 6.5m; and so on and on ....

On the same basis, having had an SR 5.4 and moved up to a 6.3, I often wish I had an SR4 when it's calm just to blat around in. Never been in one but imagine take off and agility to be awesome. If it's as different as the 5.4 to 6.3 the other way, miles more smiles per pound! probably like a jet ski, but dry!?

Well yeah, SR4's aren't exactly reknowned for being dry in the 'as a bone' sense of the word though !

Very impressive boat, beautiful pictures and video! Saw some photos of Trondheim on google earth - what a beautiful city! Nice to see some trip reports where substantial distances are travelled.

I think it's only natural and also healthy to have something to dream about and work towards.
I've been boating almost all my life. Owned a few smaller boats. After seeing a Goldfish 29 a few years ago, decided that THAT was the boat I wanted. Been working my ass off after that to be able to buy one. Now that I own one, I've actually started looking at other boats. Going to enjoy my 29 for a long time to come, but having something new to dream about/work towards is nice
