Thurso, Scotlands northest town

Spent two days in Thurso on Friday and yesterday and what a lovely town with about 10.000 inhabitants, drove quite a bit around and unfortunately did not see a single RIB.

Look forward spending 10 days there again in July with my boat.

Few piccies taken yesterday.

Sure Andy, Scrabster it is, I found it nice and friendly two villages like Iceland villages in many ways friendly people and I look forward go back there again and surely I will spend more time in the future driving the northern tourist route again it was fantastic and I fell in love......... reminded me back home more than 25 years ago driving Icelandic "autobahns/motorways"...........

Hey I live in Thurso, there are a few RIBS kicking about. You will not normally see them in Scrabster harbour.

I know the local Sea Scouts have a Valiant Rib with a Yahama 50 and if you go 20 miles east to John O'Groats you will find the Pentland Exployer 450hp Jet Rib that runs wild live tours and a white water experience also the local marine life rescure rib the Pentland Knight A torrnado rib with twin 150's.

Theres also a couple of dive clubs in the area with various ribs, myself I have just purchased a Gemini Zapcat so that will be thrashing about the bay in the next couple of weeks.
