mpg or litres per mile

i have been doing some figures from the smartcraft this evening and i have used 47.2 gals us to do 179.2 miles, which equates to around 178 litres to do 179 miles so i am getting near as damn it dead on 1 mile per litre from the opti 200 which is fine by me!! and i have not really been doing much economical cruising so the figures might get better which i wont complain about if i am on a cruise doing sensible economical speeds on the plane. very happy with those figures so far as i was worried i could be north of 1.5 litres to a mile which would not be good really

a nice end to the evening indeed

Why are you complicating things and measuring them in US gallons ??? Surely you can change the units on your gauges

Don't tell the environmentalists you get one mile to the litre. After they've killed off the 4 X 4 brigade they'll be after us boaters.

Then they might tackle the real problem which is the Jet aircraft. There again if they do that how will they get on holiday. Or crusade against the G8 Conferences.

Gill do a nice looking pair of racing glasses. They look like the oalkey racing jackets, have polarised lenses, they float and they have a head strap all for 40 squids. I have only seen them in a catalogue though, so couldn't comment on quality

You can get them from force 4 here:
