I'm a bit off with me spellin' Ginger . Thanks for that. My wifes Grandfather whom was a professional yacht skipper in the fifties and from a Flushing family going back 400 yrs, used to become irritated when it was refered to as St. Anthony's beach.

Is there any significance concerning the proximity of Mollulnan Beach to Shag Rock perchance?

Oh no. Honestly! Good spear fishing territory. Isn't Shag Rock the lead singer in an American heavy metal outfit?

I will probably be out in Carrick roads both days - but I wont be cruising - i will be learning to wake board.

My dad and a couple of friends (who usually play in the med all summer) are in Cornwall for the winter and have decided they will take advantage of me having a decent sized boat now to keep up to speed on the wake boarding - so i will be trying as hard as possible not to embarrass my self.

If you are out and about you are welcome to join in laughing at me making a fool of myself.
