So, as i mentioned in the thread RIB EUROPE i am starting to upload some pictures from Hellenic Rib Forum (www.fouskoto1.gr).

A few months ago the members of our forum scheduled to clean from the garbages the coast line of little island near Athens in coordination with the Hellenic coast guard and the nearest municipality. So we get there and here are some photos from this day.

1. Prepairing to anchor at Patroklos island, on board Michael Vamvakousis' boat.
2. The boats anchored and the garbage collected in big bags.
3. Our good firend Menios loaded all the garbage on his boat.
4. The boats, the members of our forum and the garbage that we collected.
5. We collected what we could from the sea also. Batfalcon is the diver here.

Unfortunately we have some idiots in Greece who goes to a beach or a forest and camp but never collect their garbages when leaving the place.

So someone has to do something and sometimes the goverment or the police are not enough, so the civilians must take the matter on their hands.

We are lacky to have some small islands nearby Athens and it's really easy for us to take the boat and go for a quick relax, but it' really bad to find there the garbage of someone else.

So we decided to start cleaning the nearby islands, we place also a sign saying:

THIS BEACH WERE CLEANED BY THE MEMBERS OF HELLENIC RIB FORUM.
FROM NOW ON PLEASE TAKE YOUR GARBAGE WHEN LEAVE.

We hope that someone will think deeper and stop the pollution.
