Codders

From what I have been told Avon have only made one (pictured) as a part of the new sea rider range (I stand to be corrected) and my good friend David (an Avon Dealer) is pictured in all the shots, he offered me the boat at a very good price and it most certainly didn't have ullman seats, radar, ally console or look any thing like a CZ7.

Are you saying the engines would have more protection if they were on a transom?

The floor does use the same technology as some trainers, but it is in no way the same as wearing a pair of trainers.

By the way have you been on a big revenger or your boat or any of the rapier copies in a big following sea? I've haven't been in a boat that stuffs its nose as much as a 7.5m/8m rapier based copy. I'd rather be in a 4m sea rider.

I've been lucky enough to be out with Jon on the CZ7 on a variety of days from flat calm, to force 6's, and rolling swells after a storm and you really will not find a boat that performs in this way, and is finished with such perfection.

It just a shame few of us will actually own one or even get to have ago in one.

Regards

Jono (a Big CZ7 fan & dont like rapier copies in a big following sea) Garton

Envy is when somebody else's RIB has several engines and all of them are lots bigger than the one on mine

That video is rather good

Andy, not my boat

Ged, Jons been out with north west boys. I'm slowly being converted to etecs! Codders is welcome anytime, but apparently the road are to small from north to South wales and with no fuel stops for a big old tec two stroke, cant come by sea, so best stick to the boating lake at Port Talbot.

Well I have been out in a Force 8 in some pretty nasty conditions - didn't manage to stuff my boat once - didn't even get wet. Mind you my boat definitely has bigger tubes than the Revengers.

Actually a few of the Avons have been delivered now - direct to military and commercial organisations.

To be honest I don't know what would happen if a big wave broke over the stern - the pad would prob act as a good lever though - bit like a big bathing platform.

Let me know where and when and I will be there and will be happy to take you and anyone else who fancies it out for a run.

Cobblers you are of course welcome too - at least then you would be able to talk from a position of authority instead of spouting codders

vbr's
