I saw a blue flashing light approach them, but they were still there some time later. Did the QHM boys just confiscate the jetskis and make 'em swim home?

There were 2 guys in a pacific 22 with a blue light who told them to tie up there,we were a little concerned that ferry wash might cause a problem but they survived OK,and a little later when they were gone,a whole host of ribs were tied up to the same bouy.

Our attempted marshalling during that evening was a waste of time as a number of people just ignored our polite requests to keep out of the gold area and control were unable to offer any support so basically we just tried to act as a safety boat in case of problems-and I am glad to say we didnt see any which was really quite amazing especially at the end when it seemed most large motor cruisers, some ribs and assorted yachts bombed towards a harbour entrance which was still not open.
