Swiftly Does It !

Had the opportunity to catch Tim Swift (aka Swifty) in action on Sunday morning, the weather was less than favourable blowing a strong force 5 SW gusting to 6, plenty of air time

Aha so your back from the US of A then, was it a good holiday

No I've known Tim for some time through the Scouts, i didn't get on the water, it was far to cold and wet for me however Tim went out for a quick run so i could take some photos of him whizzing around, we were planning a fish and chip run to Ramsgate but the weather put pay to that, when are you back up and running Dan ? have this urge to get out soon.

Dan

HW at HB this Saturday is 15:45, its a 5.0 metre tide so 3 hours ish either side of HW for launch and recovery, it been getting dark about 5pm so there's a possibility of either a few hours run out or weather permitting an extended night stealth mission around the island and back

We are aiming for Sat afternoon but will keep Sunday clear as a fallback in case the weathers crap, if we do go out i might come down on Sunday as well to see the maiden launch and have a laugh when that 30 inch prop fails to get 1.8 tons of Pac on the plain
